Buying
How a sale goes: the stages
A step-by-step look at what happens from the first meeting to signed papers.

Buying a home in Latvia is a sequence of clear steps, not a single visit to a notary. Netspot Lat stays with the deal from the first request to signing. The buyer pays no commission.
Request and brief
Work starts with a specialist, not an autoresponder. We need the city or area, property type, budget and timing. A tighter brief means fewer wasted viewings.
We do not promise a perfect flat in a day. The job is to understand the search and cut noise before anyone opens a door.
Shortlist and viewings
From the portfolio — new builds and resale across Latvia — we build a short list, not a dump of links. We view together and mark what works and what does not.
- Location, light, layout and condition
- The building, courtyard, parking and noise
- What the price includes and what you will pay after the deal
Checks before you commit
Before signing we review ownership, encumbrances and building papers. This article is orientation, not a substitute for the file on the property you actually take — that check happens on the object you are ready to buy.
Documents and signing
Then come the contract, payments and signing. We stay until the papers are done, not until the last viewing. Timing depends on the property and the parties, so we set the calendar early.
After signing we stay in touch until handover. If something surfaces at the finish, the same specialist answers.
